Our mission continues – to pray and work for peace.
Join us again this year to mark Anzac Day. 99 years ago this church was built as a thanksgiving to God for peace and as a perpetual memorial for those who died. Lest we forget.
This year our Anzac Day Memorial Mass will be at 7am on Thursday 25th April (Anzac Day) and include the intentions of prayer for peace and for the repose of souls who died and suffered through war and conflict, especially those named on our honour roll. Morning tea will follow in the lower hall.

Is your family name on our honour roll?
Contact us to find out, and perhaps discover someone in your family tree for whom you can pray.
There are 1,824 names on this unique honour roll of Catholic sailors, soldiers and two nurses who enlisted from Queensland and died in WWI. Help us to preserve the memory of their sacrifice.
CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS 2025
Next year join us for Anzac Day Memorial Mass and for special Centenary celebrations on April 25 and 26. Follow our website and Facebook page for details as we get closer to the date.
11am on Saturday 26 April will be the major Centenary Mass Celebration.
